Dear DOE EPSCoR Colleagues,
I am writing to inform you that Dr. Kristin Bennett, program manager
for
DOE EPSCoR, will be leaving the Department of Energy effective Feb. 1,
2008 to pursue other career goals and interests. Kristin has
supported the mission of the Office and the Department for over five
years in Basic Energy Sciences as a program manager in both the
Division
of Materials Sciences and Engineering and the Scientific User
Facilities
Division. She has led the EPSCoR program with energy and vision and has
created a strong path forward for the program.
Dr. Tim Fitzsimmons of DMSE has agreed to serve as interim DOE EPSCoR
program manager. Dr. Fitzsimmons may be contacted at 301-903-9830

1. New DOE EPSCoR Reports:
The 2007 DOE EPSCoR Annual Meeting Proceedings Report is now available
on
the DOE EPSCoR web site

Hard Copies and CDs are available on request. CDs and hard copies
will be distributed to all DOE EPSCoR State and Laboratory Program
Directors at the next Annual Meeting.
