The web site provides information on research being carried out by Jarlath O’Neil-Dunne and Dr. Leslie Morrissey at the University of Vermont’s Spatial Analysis Lab (SAL) housed in the School of Natural Resources (SNR). In this project geospatial technology is being employed to help identify and rank agricultural fields in need of riparian buffers in order to reduce nonpoint source pollution (NPS). This research was funded by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) through the Vermont Water Resources Institute. To find out more about this research project follow the links on the left.
