Solar Panel Project Solar Panel Project at UVM
There is a 5,000 watt solar panel array on the Central Heating Plant. The project was initiated by Richard Wolbach, the Energy Management Engineer at UVM. As a senior at UVM, Nik Ponzio created a program so the public can see how much power the panels are currently generating online.



UVM Biodiesel Buses Biodiesel Buses at UVM
They look and run like regular buses but smell like....french fries? Read how UVM student Joshua Cabell, with the help of Michael Altman, UVM's Transportation Manager, got the university's buses to run on B20, a renewable fuel.

Using software from Clean Air-Cool Planet, a non-profit organization that focuses on climate change and global warming, Graduate student Eileen Galinski completed an carbon dioxide inventory for the University of Vermont. The entire report is available online.
