| PURPOSE: The purpose of this fund is to support conservation and rural development, as well as student research and service learning, in partnership with coffee farming cooperatives and resource-poor farming families in El Salvador. At this time, the fund primarily supports the work of the Association of Organic Coffee Producers of Western El Salvador (ACOES), a recently formed, farmer organization that brings together 29 families of the municipality of Tacuba. |
