Applications

The Special Education Program accepts students one time a year for either Summer or Fall matriculation.  The application deadline is March 15.  There is no Spring acceptance date at this time.

The MEd application process is handled through the Graduate College.  Applicants are required to submit the application, a statement of purpose, three letters of recommendation, and official copies of all transcripts.  All applications are completed online at the Graduate College website, and can be found online at http://www.uvm.edu/graduate/.  Further questions may be directed to the Graduate College offices in 330 Waterman, 85 South Prospect St, Burlington, VT 05405 (802-656-3160).  GRE scores are not required for the Special Education Program.

For students who already hold a Master’s degree, there is a Certificate of Advanced Study option.  Applications for the CAS are available directly through the Special Education offices in 454 Waterman, or by contacting us at special.education@uvm.edu.
