Parking for Admissions Visitation Days
To: UVM Faculty and Staff
From: Bill Ballard, Associate Vice President for Administrative & Facilities Services
Date: February 17, 2011
During high school vacation weeks, hundreds of prospective students and families visit the University as part of the process of deciding whether to come to UVM. While parking in the Admission's Visitor Center lot is adequate on most days, additional spaces are needed in the Allen House lot during peak periods.
As such, we need to reserve approximately twenty additional spaces in the Allen House lot, on top of all the spaces in the Admissions lot during the following weeks:
- Week of February 21
- Week of March 14
- Weeks of April 11, 18, and 25
To ensure our University guests have a positive campus experience, your assistance in parking your vehicle in other Green Zone lots in the Main Campus area is greatly appreciated. Please refer to the parking map at http://www.uvm.edu/tps for alternate parking during the days listed. It is critical to our University mission that our prospective families find a place to park and that they find UVM a welcoming community.
Chris Lucier, Vice President for Enrollment Management, joins me in thanking you for your cooperation.
