Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem recently celebrated their 25th anniversary as a duo with concerts in Italy, Austria and at Merkin Hall in New York. They tour annually throughout North America and Europe, and have performed two piano concertos with orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony and the Vienna Tonkünstler. They have been heard on WFMT radio in an unprecedented series of 30 live broadcast recitals, and are founders of the NEA award-winning Chicago Duo Piano Festival, held annually at the Music Institute.
Their spectacular program celebrates spring, and includes:
- Debussy: En Blanc et Noir
- Respighi: The Fountains of Rome
- Ravel: La Valse
- Stravinsky: Le Sacre du Printemps
