I want to do a triathlon but have no idea how to train for one!

Trismarter.com is a triathlon coaching and sports nutrition service that was started by UVM alums Walter DeNino '98 and Marcus Garand '98. As the UVM Triathlon Club grows, Trismarter.com has offered training program and sports nutrition guidance to active Club members. Current Training Schedule:

TRAINING SCHEDULE:

SWIMMING:
Saturday: 12-2pm (pool is ours)
M/W 6:30-8pm

CYCLING:
Tues spin class 5-5:45
Thurs spin class 5-6

RUNNING:
Monday nights as an alternate to swimming 7:30pm meet at the indoor track.
Fridays OUTDOOR run. meet at the airport at 2:45.
MWF Rachel runs at 8am. if you want to run with her drop her an email and she'll meet you
at the airport.
Tues at 10:30 am Amy runs, and will meet at the airport.

 

In addition to the regular schedule, club members can post times when they will be practicing to the Listserv.

Register for the UVM Triathlon!

     The UVM Triathlon (500 yd swim, 10.5 mile bike, 5K run) will be held on April 22, 2007.  Online Registration is open until April 16.  On site registration will be available as space allows.

Welcome to UVM Triathlon

     This is the clubs fourth year recognized and we are continually looking for new members and ideas about how to progress as a club. The club is open to all levels of athletes and its main focus is to facilitate the personal goals that you as a multi-sport participant set for yourself. In endurance sports, training with other motivated people can be a huge asset to your overall progression and enjoyment of your workouts.
