Resources to add/substitute

Marengo 1954 and 1959 reporting on spore development in Onoclea, Osmunda, and Polypodium virginianum clearly illustrates the two pairs of spores in a monolete tetraploid oriented at right angles ---- add to intro lecture illustrations.   Illustration in the 1959 paper very useful for comparison.  See also MArengo 1978 for more refs.
