Come on in and stay a while. With complete wireless access, great views, cozy study nooks and lots of space for group meetings, the Davis Center operates as the living room of campus.

Watch the world go by in this four–story, bright and beautiful space. Trimmed with locally harvested maple wood from Bostwick Farms in Shelburne, this is a perfect spot to pause during a busy day. (see it on a map)
The Book Nook:
The Book Nook was inspired by UVM students and is the vision of JP Marton, a beloved Davis Center custodian. It was JP who observed students' love for reading books and worked to provide a space for the open exchange of books and ideas. Currently, the Book Nook resides in Brennan's Pub on the 1st floor of the Davis Center. Since it's conception in 2010, the Book Nook has tripled in size and donations are always welcome! You can donate books to the Book Nook by leaving them in the donation box (adjacent to the shelves in Brennan's). Books that hold special meaning are especially welcome. (see it on a map)
Green roof and terrace:
Boasting one of the best views in town, the green roof provides privacy and green space for hanging out on bluebird Vermont days. Perfect for having lunch with friends or catching up on homework, the green roof features picnic tables by local metalworker and UVM alumna Katherine Clear. And on rainy days? We're glad you asked. The green roof helps mitigate and manage stormwater run–off (think: less water pollution). (see it on a map)
Diversity & Equity Lounge:
LGBTQA services, the Women’s Center, ALANA, and Affirmative Action's extension of the knowledgable, safe, and fun spaces in their individual areas. This lounge space is a resource for students, as well as a great hang out space in the DC. (see it on a map)
Livak Fireplace Lounge and Gallery:
Looking for a quiet space to study during the day? Check out the lounge area on the fourth floor. The lounge offers cozy seating and bright south facing windows while the student art curators keep things interesting with exhibits all year round! (see it on a map)
The Tunnel and Sodexo Sustainability Gallery:
The tunnel is not only the safest way to cross Main St., but also the warmest. Featuring benches constructed from trees harvested from UVM's Jericho Research Forest, a dynamic LED lighting element and an interactive green building systems display, the tunnel does double duty as both an educational tool and climate controlled way to get from point A (say... residential campus) to point B (like... the library).
