Dudley H. Davis Center

Hang Out

Have we mentioned the Davis Center is totally wireless? So not only are these spaces comfortable with some great views, but they're also perfect for solo work time or group collaboration.

Student gameroom and Burack Family fireplace lounge

Foosball and pool tables — for free! Plus board games, magazines, and other games available from our Hoffman Information Center (the main info desk for the building). (see it on a map)

Olin Atrium

Watch the world go by in this four–story, bright and beautiful space. Trimmed with locally grown maple wood from Bostwick Farms in Shelburne, this is a perfect spot to pause during a busy day. (see it on a map)

Green roof and terrace

Boasting one of the best views in town, the green roof provides privacy and green space for hanging out on sunny Vermont days. Perfect for having lunch with friends or catching up on homework, the green roof is part of the DC experience. And on rainy days? We're glad you asked. The green roof adds green space to help manage stormwater run–off (think: less water pollution). (see it on a map)

Diversity and Equity Lounge

LGBTQA services, the Women’s Center, ALANA and Affirmative Action announce an extension of the knowledgable, safe, and fun spaces in their individual areas. This lounge space will be a resource for students as well as another great hang out space in the DC. (see it on a map)

Livak Fireplace Lounge

Looking for a quiet space to study during the day? Check out the lounge area on the fourth floor. With cozy seating and a big fireplace, it's like Billings, but better! (see it on a map)

The Tunnel and Sodexho Sustainability Gallery

The tunnel under Main Street is back and better than ever! With benches constructed from trees harvested from UVM land, and a dynamic lighting element and display cases, the tunnel does double duty as both a climate controlled way to get from point A (say... residential campus) to point B (like... the library!); not to mention, it might be a sweet place to people watch.
