1) revisiting the laptops: news, updates, configurations Mac install and login
- when do we upgrade the hardware (how do we?$)
next year (every 3 years)
- any new software needs

(get it from Campus Tech--Wes will get working customer number)
we'll get a few copies for us, but hold off on putting on the laptops
- how should they be configured (esp. password issues)
write the password in the wiki and don't ever change it without letting us know there
2) new scanner(s)
let's go with Epson along with Abbyy FineReader (Hope will look)
3) schedules
- working out
we'll go back to our usual schedule of people during finals week so Jr Docs can study!
- summer schedules
by appointment?
- Dr Is In opens the week before classes start!! some hours during the workshops.
- ask Jr Docs if they can do some August hours. Be prepared to do extra hours.
4) public relations
- generating more/less business
- interfacing with ETS and other campus IT support
5) opening up CTL during last weeks? not as a general rule
6) add more workshops:

7) send advertising to all Adjuncts as well? how to sort out Clinical/Meds?
8) web team? sure, as long as they have a nice way to explain why they can't answer all questions

a. We are 2 years on a 3 year replacement cycle, so we don't have to worry too much
b. Software for the Room
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 - Web Premium Edition - CampusTech License (http://www.campustech.com/) - Probably worth evaluating the package - Installing on a few Macs in 407
- Office 2007 by the fall

- how do the computers get managed - admin password on the notebooks - how is software and images managed (Jay) - dokt0r or d0ktor - 2) new scanner(s)
- do we need a new scanner - one of the canon's is not scanning well - need something that works for OCR and Images - epson - abbyy finereader - 3) schedules
- working out ok? - summer schedules? - happy now - normal schedule for finals week to allow techcats to study for classes
4) public relations
- generating more/less business - interfacing with ETS and other campus IT support - support for students - technology fee - teaching piece / learning piece - faculty development workshops - expanding workshops (for fall) -- word 2007 -- excel 2007 -- photoshop elements + grading and assessment + making the most of your syllabus
- marketing to adjunct faculty -- via dean's offices --

- Webteam using the space - keep the dropin appoint ment structure - be mindful of appointments - helping techcats schedule time
