Community Service Programs is a subsection of the Department of Student Life which coordinates one-time service events that are open to all members of the UVM community, service-based trips for incoming first-year students and advise student-led volunteer groups of the Volunteers in Action organization. Drop boxes are located on the first and third floor info desks, student life in the Davis Center, and a variety of other places on campus for your old shoes, which will be donated to Nike's Let Me Play campaign, where the shoes will be recycled into new sports surfaces.
