The following list of Burlington agencies offers you a place to begin your community restitution experience. After reviewing the list, make a few introductory calls to investigate which site would be the best for you in terms of your interests, time availability, and the needs of the agency. If you already perform community service and/or would like to work at an agency not listed on this sheet, contact CSES at (802)656-4360. If you have more than 10 hours to complete, you may choose to work at several different agencies. In order for your community restitution to be considered complete, you must:
- Receive approval for your agency from the Community Restitution
Coordinator.
- Have your agency fill out the Community
Restitution Agreement/Verification and Performance Evaluation.
- Write a 750 word reflection paper based on the Community
Restitution Reflection Paper Guidelines.
- Return
paper and timesheet to Center for Student Ethics & Standards, 41 S. Prospect
Street, Burlington, VT. 05405, or fax it at (802) 656-8191. Please indicate
"Confidential c/o Community Restitution Coordinator" on the faxed
document.
