An online resource that will check a student paper against Internet sources and provide faculty with a report of any word-for-word borrowing. Good at detecting use of student term papers available at sites like schoolsucks.com.

Fee-Based Services for Detecting Plagiarism

The Center for Student Ethics & Standards does not have an account with any fee-based services for detecting plagiarism.

www.turnitin.com

Run by plagiarism.org, turnitin.com uses document source analysis to find even paraphrased content that has not been cited. The pricing information comes out to about $1 a paper for individual instructor although they also have discounts for quantities over 2000 and site licenses.

This site provides information for EVE2 (Essay Verification Engine) which is marketed as a plagiarism detection system.
