Training for inventory personnel on how to complete the Space & Movable Equipment Inventory is now available. Registration is required through HRS Learning Services. See below for the registration instructions.

Location:  109 South Prospect Street - Room 007  (Enter building at main entrance on South Prospect Street.  Walk straight down hallway to reception desk and take a left through door into stairwell.  Descend stairs to the bottom level and go through door and take a right.  Training room is on the right - room 007).

Overall Objectives:  This session will provide an overview of the FAMIS Space & Equipment Inventory process with an emphasis on how to classify functional space.  A step by step review of the FAMIS Self-Service screens will be reinforced with supporting examples to ensure FAMIS users have the necessary information to complete their inventory. 

Who should attend: Personnel who are conducting the space and equipment inventory for the first time or didn't attend the training last year are highly encouraged to attend one of the below sessions.

Prerequisite: Become familiar with  the information on the space and equipment inventory website

  1. Log in to PeopleSoft using the Human Resources Login
  2. Navigation:  Self-Service > Learning and Development > Request Training Enrollment
  3. Choose a search method (you may use the course code listed above (CPT025) to search by "course number"
  4. Select the session you wish to attend and follow the instructions on-screen.
