  • Training classes available for FY15 Space and Equipment Inventory (2/9/15) - The annual Space and Movable Equipment inventory starts on March  15, 2015. Attend a training session by registering through HRS Learning Services.  Personnel conducting the inventory for the first time are required to attend a training session. All personnel coordinating or entering data into FAMIS should attend a training session every other year to stay current on best practices.
  • New IBB Space Reports are Available (9/22/14) - IBB Space Inventory summary reports are now available in Crystal Reports.  The IBB reports were developed to provide a summary of the space within a college/unit as reported by the space survey administrators during the space and equipment inventory process. Detailed instructions on running space reports including these IBB reports may be found in the Space Training Guide under the Training links on this Space and Movable Equipment website.
  • Completing your FY14 Space and Equipment Inventory (7/21/14) - The completion deadline for the University’s annual space and equipment inventory was June 30, 2014. Please ensure that your department administrators complete and certify the space and movable equipment inventory as soon as possible (if they have not done so already). Department administrators are required to run space and equipment reports from the Crystal Reports Server to conduct QA on their inventory results prior to submitting the certification form.
  • FY14 Space and Equipment Inventory used for IBB (7/21/14) - An important new use of this information, with the implementation of Incentive-based Budgeting (IBB), is that the FY 2014 space inventory data will be the key factor for assignment of square footage and space costs to Responsibility Centers for FY16 budget planning. Space inventory data as of August 31, 2014 will be the basis for assignment of facilities costs to Responsibility Centers for FY16 budget planning.
  • FY14 Space and Equipment Inventory (4/15/14) - The annual Space and Movable Equipment inventory has begun. The space and equipment inventory provides critical data in costing facility usage and obtaining Facilities and Administrative (F&A) reimbursement from external sponsors. In addition, the inventory data is likely to play a role in the allocation of space costs to the responsibility centers and the cost centers. The deadline for completion is June 30, 2013.
