Dr. Rycki Maltby's background is in community/public health nursing. She has a B.A. (psychology), BScN, MScN (nursing education), and a Ph.D. (public health). She has been teaching in a university setting in Canada, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, and has been at UVM since January 2000. Her research, publications, and conference presentations reflect community-based issues, with current projects of developing a cultural immersion model with international partners and cultural competency across nursing programs with co-researcher Dr. Sarah Abrams.
