The primary mission of the Center for Health and Wellbeing is to enhance the learning environment of the University of Vermont by maintaining and improving the health, personal growth and wellbeing of the University Community.
This is accomplished by providing accessible, high-quality, cost-effective, prevention-oriented primary health care, mental health counseling, a wide range of prevention and educational outreach programs and referral services designed specifically to meet the needs of the UVM students and community.
Services are geared to support both the mental and physical health essential to the intellectual and personal development of University students, enabling them to participate fully in University life.
A secondary mission is to contribute to the University's educational mission by providing mentoring and clinical experiences for pre-professional students.
