Center for Health and Wellbeing About CHWB

Diversity

The Center for Health & Wellbeing is committed to providing respectful and confidential health care and counseling to all its clients, valuing differences in race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disabilities or veteran status. Our staff is responsive to the needs and concerns of all seeking care and commits to offer services in an environment which is safe and supportive to all.

Because the ability to communicate is a fundamental determinant of how people are able to advocate for their needs within any system, the Center for Health & Wellbeing is committed to providing support and accommodation for individuals who do not speak English as their primary language in the form of language interpretation and interpretation of written materials that insure informed consent.

The Center for Health & Wellbeing provides staff with meaningful opportunities to enhance their cultural competencies during staff orientation and in regular and continuing education offerings.
