Greystone Valley
Greystone Valley

Not all of my stories have to be about murder and evil. Greystone Valley is a novel that was written with three things in mind. First, it is a story written specifically with my wife Sarah in mind, as should be obvious from the main character's name. Second, it is my attempt to diversify my writing by telling a story that can be enjoyed by all ages. Third, it is a bit of practice in my theory about writing a story that can be enjoyed by kids -- that you don't have to dumb the story down in order for them to enjoy it.

Greystone Valley combines a lot of what I like about fantasy literature and fairy tales, borrowing elements from the Chronicles of Narnia, The Chronicles of Prydain, and Lewis Carroll's stories about Alice in Wonderland. If you've read those kind of stories, then this tale will feel fairly familiar to you. Hopefully, the characters and their adventures will be what makes the story enjoyable.
