Common Ground Student-Run Educational Farm


Co-Farm managers were Matt Dees (PSS), Brad Kinter (ENVS), Kathleen McTigue (CDAE) and Nate Sands (PSS) was an active apprentice. Shares increased to 17 and the share price for working students decreased as a result of their labor in return.

They were able to produce 6000 pounds of vegetables for Chittenden Co. emergency Food shelf and Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. The club hosted several workshops for children and spent a morning with the Vermont Youth Corps. The UVM trustees visited the farm in August.
