Today’s students are "digital natives," born into a world in which telecommunications and computer technologies comprise a natural and dynamic landscape in which to learn, play, share and communicate.
By addressing the changing needs of a technologically literate society, the College of Education and Social Services advances its leadership role in incorporating best practices of technology integration in professional work, research, and instruction.
The Technology for Teaching Lab is a modern space where students, faculty and staff can work, meet, and practice new technology tools. Use of the 4 desktops to edit video, check email or annotate course materials. Borrow a laptop and use the couch to meet with classmates. Move the assorted seated and standing options to create a mock classroom. Wireless project an iPad or computer to the large screen and practice teaching a class.
