SPAN 101 Composition and Conversation SPAN 140 Analyzing Hispanic Literatures
Select Two of the Following Language Courses	6 cr. hrs.
SPAN 105 Phonetics and Phonology SPAN 109 Spanish Grammar SPAN 201 Advanced Composition and Conversation SPAN 202 Topics in Spanish Language Study SPAN 211 History of the Spanish Language
Select Two Courses at the 100 Level or Above	6 cr. hrs.
SPAN Elective at the 100 Level or Above SPAN Elective at the 100 Level or Above
	18 cr. hrs.

1. At least 6 credits of the minor must be taken at the 200 level.

2. Exceptions can and should be made in the recommended courses in cases where individual experience and preparation in the language indicate the advisability of such changes.

3. College of Education and Social Services students should go to the Romance Languages Department for advising in their choice of coursework so that appropriate modifications in the recommended program may be made.
