Minimum of 30 credit hours required.

Complete Four Courses in Advanced Language (one of these must be SPAN 101). Select courses from 105, 109, 201, 202, 211.	12 cr. hrs.

Complete Three 3-Credit Literature Courses (one of these must be SPAN 140). Select courses from 141-142, 230-289, 295-296.	9 cr. hrs.
SPAN 140 Analyzing Hispanic Literatures SPAN Literature Course SPAN Literature Course
Complete One Culture Course. Select from 290-294, or 299.	3 cr. hrs.
SPAN Culture Course
Complete Two Courses at the 100 Level or Above.	6 cr. hrs.
SPAN Elective at the 100 Level or Above SPAN Elective at the 100 Level or Above
	30 cr. hrs.

1. At least 9 credits of the major must be taken at the 200 level.
2. Course substitutions can and should be made in cases where individual experience and preparation in the language indicate the advisability of such changes. The Chair of Romance Languages is able to provide such waivers.
3. College of Education and Social Services students should go to the Romance Languages Department for advising in their choice of coursework.
