HST 011 U.S. History to 1875 HST 012 U.S. History Since 1875 (In exceptional circumstances, more advanced courses may be offered in fulfillment of this requirement.)
European History-Select One Combination	6 cr. hrs.
HST 009 and 010 Global History to 1500 and Global History Since 1500 HST 015 and 016 Early Europe and Modern Europe
Select Two Courses from the Following	6 cr. hrs.
HST 040 African History to C-1870 HST 041 Africa from C-1870 to Present HST 045 Hst Islam & Middle East to 1258 HST 046 Hst Islam & Middle East Since 1258 HST 055 History of China & Japan HST 062 Colonial Latin American History HST 063 Modern Latin American History
Select Four History Electives at the 100 Level or Above At least one HST elective must be a 200 level seminar.	12 cr. hrs.
HST Elective Numbered at the 100 Level or Above HST Elective Numbered at the 100 Level or Above HST Elective Numbered at the 100 Level or Above HST Seminar Numbered at the 200 Level

Students in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education and Physical Education who are completing this major may eventually be interested in applying to teach this content at the Secondary Education level. This would require completing the Supplemental coursework as listed on the Secondary Education History major.
