John Roberts is a registered professional engineer in multiple states, a board-certified environmental engineer of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, and a member of numerous professional societies where he has held leadership positions and received awards for his service. He is also very active in support of Water for People, a charitable organization dedicated to helping people in developing countries improve their quality of life by providing sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities, and health and hygiene education programs.
John received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont in 1975 and an MS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. He became a member of the CEMS Board of Advisors in 2006. He is also a member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
John is a native of Vermont who was raised in the Northeast Kingdom town of Danville. He and his wife Linda live in Boston and are the proud parents of two daughters.
