TRIPSCY Evidence-based Journal Club
The TRIPSCY Evidence-based Journal Club (herein referred to as Journal Club), as a Community of Practice activity, is a means for Vermont Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy Practitioners and others to stay abreast of research literature and develop strategies to apply this new knowledge to benefit children, their parents and school teams.

This website provides a compilation of free health, rehabilitation and education literature databases, tips for effectively searching these databases and options for obtaining full text articles:
- The Journal Club aims to enhance the critical appraisal skills of interdisciplinary professionals working with children and youth who have disabilities.
- The Journal Club aims to enhance interdisciplinary professionals' ability to integrate research evidence into practice.
- The Journal Club aims to disseminate evidence-based practice information to interdisciplinary professionals in Vermont in the form of topical fact sheets.
Who can Participate?
Any professional working with children and youth in Vermont who have disabilities, is welcome to join the Journal Club. Professionals may choose to attend the year-long series of Journal Club meetings or attend individual meetings on topics of interest (topics are listed on the Schedule Page under Journal Club activities). To ensure that there is sufficient space at the VIT sites, participants are asked to RSVP for each meeting at TRIPSCY@uvm.edu.
The Journal Club meetings will take place at Vermont Interactive Television locations throughout the state. For addresses and directions to these locations visit the Vermont Interactive Television (VIT) web site.
