The Robert Hull
Fleming Museum $5 Million
Housing an extraordinary array of 20,000 objects that make up Vermontís most comprehensive collection of art and anthropology, the Robert Hull Fleming Museum provides invaluable cultural resources to UVM students and faculty. The Museum also attracts a steady stream of visitors from throughout the state to its innovative and diverse exhibitions. Recent exhibitions have featured the works of Pablo Picasso, Romare Bearden, Andy Warhol, and Rembrandt van Rijn.
To ensure the Museumís future as an integral part of a UVM education, The Campaign for the University of Vermont seeks support for two endowed funds:
ē A Museum Acquisitions Fund will expand and upgrade the Museumís collection, strengthening its support of the UVM curriculum and community interests.
ē A Museum Exhibitions Fund will enable the Museum to participate in major national touring exhibitions, borrow world-class art and artifacts for the original exhibitions it organizes, publish original research, and introduce new educational and public programs.
