Syllabus: art 144 HISTORY CULTURE
My classes present digital technology as an artistic medium, introducing specific software and hardware as integral components of an informed and critically engaged art practice. Students are introduced to a wide variety of forms and an emphasis is place on the conceptual and cultural issues that define this practice. Students will have a hands-on opportunity to explore the integration of conceptual, technical and aesthetic concerns that makes digital technology an evolving artistic environment.
