Ms. Bi got her Master Degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics with a specialty in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Shaanxi Normal University. Before she came to UVM, she had taught Chinese as a foreign language at Shaanxi Normal University for two years and at Handan College in Hebei Province, China for three years. She is a Chinese language teacher selected and sponsored by the Chinese Language Council and invited by UVM's Chinese Language Program to help with the teaching of Chinese language and culture at UVM. She teaches these courses at UVM: Advanced Special Topics (CHIN295/296), Intermediate Chinese (CHIN051/052), and assists with the Chinese House Program at the Global Village at UVM.
