ANNOUNCEMENTS
&
REMINDERS:
Tips from TAs:
- Work on Powerful Endings
- Restate
must knows should be specific things the audience should remember, not
"categorical topics" you covered. To say "Today I talked about pie
ingredients, how to bake, and how to serve" is NOT a restate of must
knows. To say "remember use only Granny Smith apples, bake in a
pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F, and serve with brown sugar on top" IS
a restate.
- Work on creative hooks.
- Remember to repeat any questions asked of you at the end.
- Make sure your have a clear PREVIEW and during your presentation transition clearly between the sections of your preview.
- Remember to dress appropriately (no jeans that are faded or with holes).
