Administrative and Facilities Services (AFS) is the largest service group within the Division of Finance & Enterprise Services, and is a partner in the teaching, research and outreach endeavors of the University. We are responsible for the complex city-like infrastructure of the University and provide a variety of administrative support, auxiliary, public safety and facilities-related services which support the institutional mission, and contribute directly to the quality of campus life. Like a small city, UVM's 460-acre campus and 150+ buildings is home, school and/or work place for 9,867 residential students, 3,734 employees and a total daily campus population of 13,601. Over 500 skilled technical, service, supervisory and management staff members of this service group provide excellent customer service in a responsive and effective manner on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year.
