Administrative and Facilities Services (AFS) is the largest service group within The University of Vermont, and is a partner in the teaching, research and outreach endeavors of the University. We are responsible for the complex city-like infrastructure of the University and provide a variety of administrative support, auxiliary, public safety and facilities-related services which support the institutional mission, and contribute directly to the quality of campus life. Like a small city, UVM's 460-acre campus and 150+ buildings is home, school and/or work place for residential and commuter students, faculty and staff, and visitors. Over 500 skilled technical, service, supervisory and management staff members of this service group provide excellent customer service in a responsive and effective manner on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year.This website will familiarize you with our mission, values, people, and services, as well as provide you with links to reach us so we can serve you.
