    Student Health Services

    Student Health Services and its staff of staff of board certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and dietitians offers a wide-range of health services tailored to the specific needs of UVM students.

    Counseling and Psychiatry Services offers a variety of services to the UVM community including short-term individual counseling, urgent needs counseling, group counseling, outreach and education, psychiatry, referrals, and consultation services.

  • Living Well

    Living Well is dedicated to helping you create and maintain a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle. In addition to programs offered around campus, Living Well offers massage, yoga, meditation, informal conversation with counseling staff and other programs—right on first floor of the Davis Center.   • HBI

    Healthy Body Image Program

    The Healthy Body Image Program, a research initiative at UVM, promotes health and wellness on campus! Take our online screening to receive personal feedback and gain access to FREE online/mobile app programs that promote overall fitness, healthy eating, and positive body esteem!

Summer Break 2015

Counseling and Psychiatry Services (CAPS):

General office hours during the summer are Mon - Fri 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

CAPS will be closed on July 3rd, 2015 in observance of the holiday.

24 hour mental health consultation is available when the office is closed by calling 656-3340 and listening to voicemail prompts.

Student Health Services - Primary Care:

  • CLOSED :
    • July 3rd, 2015 in observance of the holiday
    • Saturdays during the summer break, will resume Saturday hours on August 29th

During the times that Student Health Services is open, please call 802-656-3350 for an appointment or information.

When Student Health Services is closed, UVM students may contact our on-call triage services for medical advice concerning non-life-threatening issues (1-866-878-2485). Please refer all questions regarding appointments, billing and other non-clinical concerns to our staff during the times we are open. For prescription refills student should place the request through, and request will be processed next working day.

Athletic Medicine:

Varsity team practice & game coverage only. No general training room hours.
