Cover Page

·         Descriptive title of the project

·         Proposal to:  (might be a sponsor, community partner, or NR206 instructors)

·         Consultants’ names

·         Contact information for consultants (one designated contact – include tel. #, email, mailing address)

·         Date

·         Possible photo if appropriate

 

Body (numbered from here on out)

The body of your proposal should be organized to convey the following information in the most clear and concise manner.   Some RFPs will designate required sections.  Others will allow you to create your own headings.  Expect to include the following: 

 

·         General description (context) of the situation and why it’s important.  This will provide justification for what you are proposing.

·         Clear statement of problem/opportunity and associated goals

·         Objectives (numbered and S-M-A-R-T).  Your objectives should include your final presentation (see dates on syllabus).

·         Proposed methods 

·         Potentially complicating factors and how you will deal with them

·         Timeline (this may be covered in your objectives section if you prefer)

·         Expected outcomes (deliverables)

·         How you will measure your success
