The newsletter is published every other week during the growing season and monthly during winter.

'Reports from the field' is a special feature of this newsletter; All growers are invited to contribute reports. They should be a short paragraph describing current crop conditions, production activities, recent pest observations, and/or comments on markets, labor or other items of interest to other growers. Measures of pest pressure (such as a percentage of plants infested or damaged by a particular pest) are appreciated. I send a reminder asking for reports to the newsletter list a day or two before the newsletter is sent out. I edit these reports as needed for space and clarity.

You can also get this newsletter in hardcopy. It is printed in Agriview, the newsletter of Vermont Agency of Agriculture. A subscription to Agriview is one of the benefits of membership in the Vermont Vegetable and Berry Growers Association.
