Hannah completed her undergraduate degree in 2015 at the University of Vermont and earned a B.A. in Latin. While her path to transportation research is unconventional, a background in community development and public communication led her to the Community Development and Applied Economics master’s program. Her initial research is focused on interregional travel access in Vermont, addressing equity and perceived needs. At the Transportation Research center, she is interested in intersecting topics like gentrification, affordable housing, equity, and quality of life, with public transportation. Studying public transportation options and barriers for low-income and minority groups is of particular interest to her.
