Vermont Tourism Summit

The Vermont Tourism Summit draws one of the largest gatherings of tourism professionals in the state including owners, managers, and employees of the many businesses connected to this important segment of the economy.

Tourism is an important driver of Vermont's economy. VTRC provides research and outreach to help businesses, communities, and others make informed decisions about tourism development. Reports and fact sheets are listed below.

Vermont Tourism Economic Impact Studies

These economic impact studies, which began in 2003, contain a series of biennial reports of the economic impact of tourism spending in the state of Vermont.

Vermont Visitor Survey 2014

The Vermont Visitor Survey was a coordinated effort between 2012 and 2014 to survey visitors about their experiences in Vermont at welcome centers, state parks, and attractions.

Branding Studies

Branding research studies the perceptions of Vermont by visitors and how these perceptions affect decision-making when choosing a vacation destination. The goal of this research is to better understand Vermont's unique strengths and areas of opportunity.
