Information for Subrecipients Using UVM's Financial Conflict of Interest Policy

Welcome Subrecipients
This page is specifically meant for
Subrecipients under existing University of Vermont (UVM) sponsored
projects that do not have a Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI)
policy that complies with Public Health Service regulations and have
agreed to use UVM's FCOI policy.
Purpose of the Policy
The
policy promotes objectivity in research by establishing standards that
provide a reasonable expectation that the design, conduct, and
reporting of research performed under sponsored agreements will be free
from bias resulting from Investigator financial conflicts of interest.
This policy is required by the PHS policy, as well as policies of the
National Science Foundation and other sponsors.
Subrecipient Responsibilities
Subrecipients on UVM PHS proposals using UVM's FCOI policy must complete Financial Conflict of Interest training and must disclose any Significant Financial Interests prior to the submission of proposals.
