Welcome Subrecipients

Welcome to the University of Vermont conflict of interest training module for subrecipient investigators. 

This training is required for all investigators involved in sponsored research projects before they make their first disclosure under the University’s Financial Conflict of Interest in Sponsored Research Policy and every four years thereafter, for as long as they engage in funded research. 

It may be required more frequently if University requirements change or when instances of non-compliance reveal the need for additional training.

This module reviews the background and federal regulations leading to the University's conflict of interest disclosure and management requirements, key definitions, the disclosure process and responsibilities of investigators engaged in sponsored research. It also presents several conflict of interest scenarios to consider.
