Resources for Students Writing Fellowship and Grant Applications

It's important to put your best foot forward as you begin to seek outside funding to support your research training and career development.  There are many resources to help you get started and to do the best job you can, presenting yourself, your goals and your educational environment.  The following links are a few of the resources available for writing the best applications possible.

Graduate Writing Center

UVM's Graduate Writing Center offers free one-on-one and small-group consultations to graduate students working on a wide range of projects: seminar papers, reports, proposals, poster presentations, and more.  Students can sit down with a graduate writing consultant at any stage of a project, from initial planning to final revisions and editing.  In addition to offering consultation appointments, they also offer writing retreats, workshops and a webpage of Resources for Graduate Writers with recommended writing guides and helps.
