08-23-12  UVM Financial Conflict of Interest in Sponsored Research Policy

In response to changes in federal regulations from certain agencies that go into effect on August 24, 2012, the University has made changes to its current policy on financial conflicts of interest in sponsored research. 

Those of you funded by PHS have already received announcements about the new regulations and the requirements specific to PHS.  

Those of you funded by other sponsors will notice, with your next annual disclosure, a required brief on-line instructional module on the topic of conflict of interest, and more detailed information required if you do have a significant financial interest to disclose.
