| Shelburne is a diverse, growing community on the shore of Lake Champlain in northwestern Vermont. Since European settlement began in the 1700s, the region has seen a great deal of human influence through cycles of industry and development. This website looks at human-induced changes in the natural landscape through historic imagery and documents, as well as paired historic/modern photographs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
