Master's Student in Natural Resources

Hyla is earning her M.S. studying grassland birds in New York's Champlain Valley. Her interest lies mainly in the intersectionality of avian conservation and agriculture. She currently serves as a board member for Northern New York Audubon, where she is developing their Farm Grant program to support bird conservation on local farms. When not birding, Hyla enjoys hiking, biking, paddling, and skiing.

Prospective graduate students interested in learning more about research and experiences in the Rubenstein School may contact Hyla.
