Research Interests
I study how global changes alter ecosystems, whether these alterations will feed back to further impact global change, and what this means for humans.
To address these complex questions, I combine quantitative modeling and experimental methods with a focus on identifying the mechanisms underlying ecosystem processes.
The effects of anthropogenic changes are widespread and diverse, so I work in a variety of environments including grasslands, forests, and agriculture.
