Brent's Top Ten List of Resources

Advanced Placement U.S. History Weblinks and Primary Sources
http://www.historyteacher.net/

Social Studies-Primary Resources.  This site is a perfect place to start looking for primary sources.  It is particularly useful for American History classes.

New York Times on the Web - Learning Network
http://www.nytimes.com/learning/

This site has a wealth of lesson plans related to current events.  Not only does the site provide ideas for lessons but also provide articles to go along with them.

California State University at Fullerton, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry
http://chemsrvr2.fullerton.edu/HES/introduction/contents.htm

Chemistry- having never taught chemistry before, I found this unit provided me with all of the materials I could possibility need and then some.  Some of the lesson plans are a little to advanced for middle school students but can be adjusted to work just fine.

Museum of Science - Ancient Egypt
http://www.mos.org/quest/

Ancient Egypt-Mummies.  The students really enjoy this two-day, hands-on activity.

Wonders of Our World - Ohio State University

Chemistry- Some simple, in-expensive science experiments for busy teachers.

Bangor High School - A Journey of a Thousand Li
