The Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) grant at the University of Vermont College of Education and Social Services sponsors and coordinates a program where UVM pre-service teachers assist University and K-12 faculty members with their own use of technology. In many cases, education students possess technology skills that a faculty member is learning to acquire. Students become technology mentors of faculty members through this program.

The PT3 grant team supports students and faculty in several ways. The team recruites students and faculty members who express an interest in participating, works with both the student and the faculty person to establish goals for a semester's work, and provides technical expertise and consultation when needed. Students are paid an hourly wage or may choose to earn college credit for their participation.

Between the years 2001 and 2003, over 40 students from the University of Vermont participated in this program. Please use the links below to find out about the projects they facilitated.
