Shirley may have first been inspired to use technology simply because she felt it was time she learned about it, but she was quickly able to discover some powerful benefits. She discovered that technology could help her achieve her goals of helping students find their own voice in Economics.
WebCT
Shirley discovered that the communication and publishing tools available in WebCT, the Course Management System used by UVM, were ideal for helping her to put students at the center, even in her large lecture classes, with over 120 students. WebCT helps her keep her students up to date, helps students connect with one another, and saves a great deal of time.
