Mary Lou was mainly interested in doing something new, and this interest brought her to using technology as part of her teaching. There was a real need, though, that she and her students faced, and Mary Lou was able to identify just the technology to address that need.
WebCT
Mary Lou found the communication and publishing tools available in WebCT, the Course Management System used by UVM, to be the ideal support mechanism for staying in touch with her students. Most importantly, WebCT helps her keep her students in touch with the course and with each other.
