Charlie's students are taking Principles of Classroom Management while they are student teaching. They are completing field work in multiple locations and interacting with a variety of different people. They meet in the classroom on campus only once a week.
Charlie wanted to have a central location where everyone, including sponsoring teachers, could access information about the course. He knew that if he built a web site, students would be able to get updated information about assignments and access to related resources anytime, anywhere. Additionally, teachers working in the schools where students were doing their fieldwork could access information about the projects and activities students were working on.
The content of the course is related to the classrooms students are working in, and a web site would allow students to access the course ideas and information when they were at their school site, or just before or after, helping them make direct connections to their field work.
